Why entrepreneurship is good for you

To me, there are 3 main reasons why entrepreneurship is good for you.

The first one has to do with reality. When you think about it, a lot of mental orders have to do with the distance from reality that the patient is experiencing.  It is particularly clear in the case of pathologies such as schizophrenia - which is a complete break from reality, or depression, where certain thoughts are going to affect the patient and the person will see a very negatively coloured reality. On the opposite, the entrepreneur has to stick to reality if he or she wants to be successful: you can't be in full reality denial and pretend that everything in your company is going well.

The other characteristic that I find to be typical for entrepreneurs is a certain way of looking at the world. To the entrepreneur, the world around us is a world of opportunities and possibilities of things that can happen. As Steve Jobs puts it: "#empoweringthoughts Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you and you can change it [...]". Such a positive outlook on life explains why entrepreneurs can be powers of change in the world, can make change happen. Steve Jobs for example had a vision and saw a different way that humans could experience computers, interact with then and he turned his vision into reality.

To me, the entrepreneur is also a figure of resilience: when faced with adversity, dofficulties - largely I guess because of their positive outlook, they will not give up but rather bounce back. And key To an effective bouncing back is a close look at reality and what exactly went wrong before then rectifying, fixing it and moving on.

One thing I really like about entrepreneurs is that usually when something goes wrong, they're not going to look at other companies and blaim the other company for what happened or went wrong, they will look inside their company, inside their vision to understand what went wrong what was to be amended and they will change it and move on.
